Colin Horst

About

As an artist who discovered a love for storytelling through books and theater, Colin Horst spends as much time writing stories as he does performing them onstage. Both blessed and cursed with an overactive mind, Colin slays his dragons of doubt daily while writing science fiction stories filled with imperfect characters marching forward with steadfast courage.

When not brainstorming new tech for his stories, Colin can be found reciting Hamilton by memory, arranging his friends according to MBTI typology, or delicately assembling computer components for a new PC build.

Achievements

• Wrote four full-length novels and one short story.

• Has attended multiple writers’ conferences including Realm Makers, Write to Publish, and the Author Conservatory Conference. 

• Received multiple professional developmental edit letters on two 80,000-word novels.

• Gathered 130+ close supporters within two months for the launch of his email list.

• Received in-depth training in marketing, branding, and platform building with a special emphasis on email marketing.

• Implemented market research and email marketing and established a website for his computer-building business.
